Description: You think you’ve been living an average life, but it might not be so. There is a story inside of you that needs to get out. A story worth telling for the world to hear. This could be your chance with Durjoy Datta and his new novel, “The Boy Who Loved”
The Boy Who Loved by Durjoy Datta is a coming-of-age tale of friendship, family and love. Its story begins with Aditi and Sahil – friends who grew up watching movies together but now live in entirely different parts of town. Their shared interest also bonds them to Katrina, an oddball high school girl. Over the years, they share laughs and tears; even when having to deal with their own struggles apart: marriage anxiety, suspicion in friendships, overly overprotective parents etc. Will these lifelong connections survive till adulthood? What will happen if everything starts changing? And how much can you trust your friend for support during all the highs as well as lows of life? You’ll find out in this sure throw.
You may think you know what love is, but in the lives of 18-year-old Raghu Ganguly and his friends, it simply isn’t enough. Love alone cannot save them from a world where they are expected to measure up. And so begin their struggles for success: an A+ average and years of hard work saw him admitted into one of Delhi’s most prestigious institutes for engineering, but even that might not be good enough any more? Especially when everyone harps on about how he has been less than stellar with girls! Worse still is his brother Amit who forces himself down a path again without thinking much about the consequences, always trying to live up to the expectations big brother sets for him.
