The Maze Runner PDF Book Review
The Amazon jungle is a vast forest located in the Amazon River delta region of South America. Covering an area of 8 million square kilometers, this forest covers an area of about 5.5 million square kilometers, mainly affected by the humid climate. These forests are spread across 9 countries. The Amazon forest covers 60% of Brazil, 13% of Peru, and the rest is Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.
This forest itself is half the tie of the rainforest that covers the world. The Amazon is home to a wide variety of species. The forest contains about 390 billion trees that are divided into about 16,000 species. (Source: Wikipedia)
Story Summary: A sick man suddenly appears in a missionary village in the Amazon. The missionary priest tried his best to heal him. But within a few hours the man died and before he died a coin passed into the hands of the priest where his name and surname were engraved. The pastor was shocked to see his name and surname.
The man is Gerald Clark, a CIA operative and former Special Forces soldier.
The agent’s death came as a shock to his superiors in Washington because the agent went missing with a research team on Amazon four years ago and everyone assumed that the team members were all dead. The most surprising thing was that the agent had one hand when he went to Amazon but he came back with two hands.
[Needless to say, every year researchers, inventors, travelers and missionaries get lost in the Amazon jungle and are never found again.
The return of Gerald Clark and his death took a new turn and with it the spread of an unknown disease in various states of America. A team of Rangers with experienced researchers from Amazon was sent to investigate the mysterious incident. But soon the team realizes that someone else has followed them.
James Rollins’ “Amazonia” full of mystery, adventure and curiosity.
Lesson Response: As a thriller lover, the book did not disappoint me.
The book has just pulled like a magnet since I started reading. There were surprises and mysteries on every page. Another reason to like the book is the various information about the Amazon and the different tribes that live there. While reading the book, I thought I was in the Amazon rainforest. Finally, I would like to say that this is the best and best adventure book I have ever read.
